ANACORTES WAS FOUNDED ABOUT A HUNDRED YEARS AGO AND NOTHING MUCH HAPPENED UNTIL 1981 WHEN A BAND CALLED the spoiled GOT TOGETHER & BEGAN ASSAULTING TEENAGE EARS AND SMALL TOWN COMPLACENCY WITH A BARRAGE OF PUNK ROCK HITS & OTHERWISE REBELLIOUS ANTICS. THEY BEGAN AS the outcasts, THEN UNFURLED the spoiled FLAG FOR THEIR FIRST "CONCERT", A SHOW AT THE MASONIC TEMPLE WHERE HALF THE CROWD THOUGHT IT WAS A PUNK GIG AND THE OTHER HALF WERE THERE FOR A FORMAL BALL. the spoiled INSPIRED A GROUP OF HIGH SCHOOL KIDS TO FORM public service, AN "HONORS PUNK BAND" THAT CONTINUED THE TRADITION OF SELF-PRODUCED SHOWS AT THE OLD ANACORTES TRAIN DEPOT. ABOUT THE TIME the spoiled & p.s. DISINTEGRATED, the few PUT OUT A SINGLE & A CASSETTE ON k, PLAYED WITH 28th day AND AT AN UNFORGETTABLE DEPOT SHOW WITH screaming trees, beat happening, girl trouble & kaos. WHEN the few SPLIT, TWO OF 'EM FORMED WHAT HAS BECOME pounding serfs: BOTH THEIR ACOUSTIC AND ELECTRIC INCARNATIONS ARE INCLUDED HERE. britt & kirsten ARE CAUGHT LIVE AT THE EAGLES BALLROOM AND ON KSVR-FM. nilo and d+ COME AT YOU FROM THEIR OWN LIVINGROOMS.
